We are pleased to announce our Principal Speaker will be Tim Powers, multiple-award-winning novelist. Our Artist Guest of Honor will be John Picacio, winner of the World Fantasy, Chesley and IHG Awards; recipient of numerous Hugo Award nominations; and 2008 nominee for both the Hugo and the Locus Awards. Our Special Guest will be Webcomic Creator Scott Christian Sava, noted particularly for his ongoing webcomic The Dreamland Chronicles.
Our hotel, the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cherry Hill, NJ, is not yet ready to take Philcon 2008 reservations. When they are prepared to accept reservations, we will add the information to this web site. In the meanwhile, if you would like to learn more about their hotel rooms and facilities, you are welcome to do so. The hotel, just five miles from Center City Philadelphia, is accessible by train and bus, and features free parking!
Registration by mail and in person is now available. Feel free to download and mail back our registration form or stop by the Philcon 2008 table at a con near you. Registration online via PayPal is coming soon.
